In Pranic Healing we work with Chakra balancing in an 11 chakra system. In some systems they work with 7, 8, or 9. We must not get stuck on one system. There are many reasons as to why this is the case. For further understanding on this subject I recommend attending a Level 1 Pranic Healing class.
In Level 1 Pranic Healing we learn how each chakra spins left and right simultaneously. As the chakra is inhaling so it is exhaling. As it is drawing in energy to keep us healthy and strong so it is expelling dirty used up energy. We can’t have one without the other. We can’t continue to inhale, eventually the body needs to exhale as well.
Just as we have organs in our physical body we have chakras in the energy body. An easy way to understand what the different chakras govern is to think of where they are located. For example, the throat chakra helps to keep the thyroid, parathyroid, larynex etc in good health. The chakas on the head help to keep the nervous system, pituitary, pineal glad and the brain in good health. As well, these chakras govern the eyes, ears and much more. Each of our chakras has a physical function. Each of them also has a psychological and spiritual function as well.
If the liver is having troubles we know the solar plexus chakra is very dirty. We would say in Pranic Healing that the solar plexus chakra is congested. As the chakra starts to malfunction the organs become affected. Chakras can start to malfunction for all sorts of reasons. This is a topic we study in great depth in Pranic Healing.
We can bring health and balance back to the chakras by regulating the mind and emotions, eating good fresh food, getting proper rest and exercise and by having a regular spiritual practice.
