Temporarily, the mind might seem louder – busier than normal. Regardless, we must keep on with our practice. This is only a temporary state that will eventually pass. It is a result of spiritual energy coming down into our energy body during our meditation and flushing out negative thoughts forms, emotions and other dirty energy.



Sandalwood oil has been used since ancient times to help calm a busy mind. From a Pranic Healing perspective, Sandalwood is very cleansing. It contains a lot of green prana or energy. This green prana breaks up negative thoughts and allows us to access a higher state of consciousness. One of the ways we can achieve this is by putting a small dab of Sandalwood oil on the forehead and in between the eyes, thereby oxygenating the pineal gland. It’s very beneficial to do this before we sit down to meditate. However, it can be done at the start of the day as well.
